Birds reported north of the causeway were two Shelducks, a Redshank, six Common Snipe, a Common Sandpiper, two Great White Egrets and twenty-five Golden Plovers plus a Stonechat.
A Grey Wagtail was at Hanging Houghton, two Redpolls were at Scaldwell village and four Stonechats were in the Brampton Valley below Hanging Houghton.
At Sywell Country Park this afternoon there were two Green Sandpipers, a Water Rail, four Stonechats, two Chiffchaffs and two Grey Wagtails. There were also about four Redpolls and twenty-five Siskins.
A Marsh Harrier was seen feeding on a dead goose at Summer Leys LNR and a male Stonechat was at Crowfields, Moulton.
