I was fortunate last month to have been given the opportunity to travel to the stunning Lofoten and Vesteralen Islands off the north-west of Norway, an area very much new to me. Well within the arctic circle this archipelago nevertheless enjoys the influence of the gulf stream and as such wildlife encounters are diverse and rather exciting.
