This site seeks to provide an insight in to recent sightings of local wildlife, provide a useful resource about birds in the county, and a log of our birding experiences. Wildlife photographers are invited to forward any images they would like to exhibit. When reading the blog please remember to click on the images on the left hand side to make them larger and easier to view. Readers will be aware that we will not be documenting details of rare breeding birds or particularly sensitive species prone to disturbance or attracting adverse interest.

The Team!

The Northamptonshire Birding Team consists of Neil McMahon (main contributor), Eleanor McMahon and Neil Hasdell as the Bloggers.

Keen local photographers who regularly provide images and details of interesting sightings include Robin Gossage, Bob Bullock, Dave Jackson, Cathy Ryden, Jim Dunkley, Tony Stanford, John Gamble, Jacob Spinks, Kenny Cramer, Chris Payne, John Tilly and Clive Bowley.

Eleanor's dogs (Tor, Rouzel and Jaeger) are responsible for Eleanor being out and about a great deal and thus leading to plenty of wildlife sightings.
