Hello Neil Hasdell was on the Summer Leys reserve at Earls Barton this morning, and after a 40 minute wait the male Bearded Tit showed well (first seen yesterday), from the Pioneer Hide. The long-staying Long-tailed Duck was back on Mary's Lake and two Great White Egrets were still present on the reserve. A flock of nine Ruff was reported. At Pitsford Res this afternoon, a pair of Oystercatcher were present in the Scaldwell Bay and quite mobile - it looks like another breeding attempt will be made this year! The Cormorant colony occupied nest tally has now gone up to at least 19. Regards Neil M
